I have the next problem with bash: I need to obtain the last modified date of a file in the following format: '1993-1-1 00:00:00'

I found your page interesting. But I have a question that was not answered there. Question: How can one display found items numbered. Eg. I use 'grep' and found: david, michael, sunday, etc. How do I display these in the form:
1) david
2) michael
3) sunday?
