The NDIS wrapper uses Windows drivers... Does that mean that you can only use it on Intel x86 platforms?

Hi Floris,
yes. You need an intel cpu.

Hello Floris, I think can support only ia32 architecture also.

When I bought my NetGear 401 I found warnings: do not use the iw-tools for
this card. Use wlan-ng tools instead. The iw-tools seem to work but may give
up after some time.

Is this still true? What is the difference between the iw-tools and wlan-ng?

I've an Asus notebook L5g series with wireless lan integrated, but i cannot find the exact model of that device, can i just use my win driver with NDIS wrapper? (Mandrake 10.1 does not see any wlan peripheral)
