How to print your own postcard
Most photo paper is glossy not only on the front but also on the back. This makes it difficult to write on the back. The best solution is therefore to stick the photo onto a thin white card board and then write on the back of the card board.
Where to print
You can print them at home if you have a photo printer. You can also load the photo onto a usb-key and print it in the store at jean-coutu or other stores offering photo print services. Postcards are normally 5x7 inch but if you plan to stick the photo onto a cardboard then 4x6 inch will work too.
How to glue the photo to a cardboard
Normal white paper glue (aka school glue) requires a porous surface, like paper, to bond permanently. The back of a photo is unfortunately non porous. It has a plastic like surface. White paper glue will hold initially but the photo will eventually peel off during the processing in the postal system. There are some glues that work well on non porous surfaces and do not damage photo paper: LePage 100% glue or UHU Max Repair. You can find them in hardware stores or at large office supply stores (Staples, aka Bureau en Gros).
