Book: Baie d'Urfé 1686 - 1986 (aka tricentennial book)
This Baie-D'Urfé history book was published as part of the 300 year celebrations. It
was a volunteer and community project. It covers many interesting aspects of the history of
Baie-D'Urfé, not found anywhere else.
Printed: June 1986, ISBN 2-9800651-0-2.
The drawing on the cover shows the original Lalonde house (20684 Lakeshore).
The book has rather restrictive copyright terms generally only seen in for profit publications.
Those copyright terms might not have been fully intentional because the awareness that a more relaxed copyright can be beneficial for these kinds of projects was not there in the 1980s.
Never the less it does not allow me to include any pictures from this book.
The book is available at the Baie-D'Urfé library. The Baie-D'Urfé library answers inter-library loan requests from other libraries in the Montreal area.
